Cyprus Forum Cities brings together Oxygono's "2040" series into a single, unified event, making it the largest local government conference in Cyprus. Held annually, the forum features multiple panels, with at least one dedicated to each major region of Cyprus—Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, Famagusta, and rural areas—alongside panels on topics relevant to all regions. Each panel is hosted in collaboration with a partner institution, and includes contributions from Cypriot and foreign politicians, technocrats, academics, and civil society representatives.
The aim of the Cyprus Forum Cities is to foster high-level discussions that help shape long-term development plans for the cities and rural areas of Cyprus. Additionally, the forum seeks to empower municipalities and communities by promoting innovation and technologies that benefit citizens. Finally, it aims to strengthen the relations between the local government and the people they serve.
