Discussion on the traffic issue of Limassol
With the participation of the Minister of Transport, Giannis Karousou, the Mayor of Limassol, Nikos Nikolaidis, and the MP Fotini Tsiridou - «LIMASSOL 2040: Towards more sustainable transport –
With Limassol becoming in recent years the city that is experiencing the greatest growth at all levels, various issues are created at the same time that need to be addressed immediately so as not to affect the quality of life of its citizens.
One of the most important issues, that the largest cities in the world are called to deal with drastically, concerns transport and traffic. Already, in several areas of Limassol, significant traffic problems are observed and now the competent bodies are called to find and implement the most appropriate, "green" and sustainable solutions.
This issue will be analyzed in detail in the third part of the series of discussions "LIMASSOL 2040» titled «Towards more sustainable transport – Micromobility", Organized online by the independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization Oxygono in collaboration with Cyprus University of Technology, will take place on Friday January 28, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.

The discussion will be moderated by Iasonas Senekkis Research Associate at the CERIDES center of the European University of Cyprus.
