The Procedural Law Unit of the University of Nicosia was established in 2019 with the aim of promoting scientific research in procedural law and private and public law dispute resolution mechanisms. The research interests of the Procedural Law Unit are not limited to the national borders of Cypriot law, but also explore both national and international developments in procedural law.  The Unit, together with Oxygen for Democracy and other organizations, organizes an annual symposium aimed at promoting scientific solutions and exerting positive pressure on the functioning of the courts.
